Gain leadership skills that will put you a step further in ministry and in life. Learning to lead a group, give instructions, and safely guide groups through different camp activities are crucial for our summer season. Develop experience that will put you above the rest. First Aid and Lifeguard certifications, food prep and training, maintenance, production, to name a few. Have a summer where life-long relationships are formed. Grow together with a team that you’ll always be a part of. Relationships, memories, and experiences that will cherished for years to come.
Requirements and expectations
General
Be a part of a team of capable and passionate individuals for the summer camp season. Ideal candidates would have completed high school and understand what it means to serve the Kingdom with selfless compassion.
Each individual will complete Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid/AED certification training on site or be certified before that time. Training will still be required for those who are previously certified.
The position begins 2 weeks prior to the first week of camp and goes through August. Compensation will include income and housing for the duration of employment, and meals (excluding time off).

Specific
Each individual will perform a variety of tasks that may include but are not limited to:
- Set-up and execute registration each Sunday afternoon beginning at 2:00pm.
- Meet with the dean and program director each morning to discuss activities and additional needs for the day’s preparation.
- Work with the entire camp staff to achieve daily and weekly goals. (it’s about the GOAL not the ROLE!)
- Lifeguard and first aid response.
- Organizing recreational equipment.
- Maintain and clean buildings and grounds.
- Food service preparation and clean up.
- Facilitating challenge course activities.
- Building campfires.
- Participate/lead devotions, team building exercises, and other spiritual development tools.
